This is a very flexible programme. Tell us what you are looking for and we will arrange it. If the group does not have a lot of time and, in addition, can get cheaper flights to Madrid mid-week, then our Tailored Mini-Course is the option for you. It consists of a 3, 4 or 5-day course starting and ending on a week day, with classes in the morning and cultural activities in the afternoon and at the weekend. You have the flexibility to start on a Wednesday or Thursday, for example, and stay until the Monday or Tuesday of the following week.

SPANISH COURSE 

We will organise the classes you request, although we recommend at least 12 units of class in a closed group with two different teachers a day. We take a communicative approach to language teaching and place particular emphasis on oral and listening skills. If you wish, we can work on projects related to Madrid and the Spanish language. 

We will be in constant contact with you before the group arrives to ensure that we have sufficient information to design a “tailored” programme, including an advance level test.

THE CULTURAL PROGRAMME 

Even though you will only be in Madrid for a few days, we intend to make your stay a memorable one. The mini-course gives you the opportunity to experience the city’s innovative cultural and leisure offering every day. We have week-day afternoons and the entire weekend to visit museums, the Retiro Park and the city centre, attend a cooking class, visit Toledo or Segovia and have fun in Madrid’s countless bars, theatres and street cafés.

We can:

• Visit the Prado Museum to see the paintings of Goya and Velázquez.
• Visit the Reina Sofía Museum to see Picasso’s Gernika.
• Attend a cooking-party
• Watch a flamenco show.
• Visit the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and the Real Madrid Museum.
• Try different types of tapas.

ACCOMMODATION 

You have a range of accommodation options to choose from, including single or double rooms with host families on a bed and breakfast or half board basis, single or shared rooms in hostels and apartment accommodation.

The accompanying teacher will be accommodated free of charge when there are at least 8 people in the group.

We can arrange lunches and dinners in restaurants or prepare packed lunches for excursions or picnics.
