Education Projects
From the outset, TANDEM has established its own identity by taking an avid interest in language education, innovative teaching methods and the creation of materials for language learning. We have worked, and continue to work, in these areas, and members of our staff participate in several individual or team projects:
WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF EUROPEAN PROJECTS
÷ In the Teacher Self-training Programme, developed within the framework of the European Union LINGUA Project, to create a collection of materials and courses for the semi-distance training of Spanish teachers. The result has been compiled in the PAP collection published by EDELSA.
÷ In the VERTICE project, funded by the Community Leonardo da Vinci Programme, which measures language competencies. The result is a guide to teaching and learning languages in immersion courses.

÷ In the coordination and promotion of ProgramAcción, a LINGUA 2 project, aimed at developing a new type of computerised language application that enables teachers to create complex cue-card games for use in class.
IN COLLABORATE WITH THE INSTITUTO CERVANTES
In the Instituto Cervantes' ENLACE Project, which consists of Internet-based courses. TANDEM is responsible for designing the courses and developing educational material for the different levels.
THROUGH INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTIONS
÷ The directors of TANDEM, Begoña Llovet Barquero and Matilde Cerrolaza Aragón, along with Óscar Cerrolaza Gili, have written the Pasaporte ELE Spanish for Foreigners teaching method, which is available in four levels. These books are published by Edelsa.
÷ Both are also co-authors of the Planet@ Spanish method, along with Óscar Cerrolaza Gili, which is also published by Edelsa.
÷ Matilde Cerrolaza Aragón and Óscar Cerrolaza Gili wrote Cómo trabajar con libros de texto. La preparación de la clase (How to work with textbooks. Preparing the Class). This book is published by Edelsa as part of its PAP collection.
