TANDEM Academic SemesterThe University Program at TANDEM, Escuela Internacional is designed for those university students, primarily juniors, who have already taken some Spanish courses at their high school or university and wish to improve their skills and broaden their linguistic and cultural knowledge through an academic experience abroad. |

HousingTANDEM arranges housing in homestays for students who participate in the Semester programs. By living with a Spanish family, the students are exposed to countless examples of authentic speech and culture and thus better learn the language.Each homestay has been carefully chosen by our Resident Director and Housing Department to ensure the best possible living arrangements for each student. Homestays may consist of a single señora (with or without children) or a traditional two-parent household. Homestays provide three meals per day and laundry service once per week for the official duration of the program. All TANDEM families are welcoming and generous with their home, but participants should remember that they are guests and will be expected to adapt to the traditions and rules of their host family. |
