Practical Orientations for Academic ProgramsWe offer a weekend-long orientation for those universities that include it in their program or for those students who request it, with the hope of making the adjustment to a new country and continent a little bit easier. This is not a guided tour of the city. It is a practical orientation on how the city works and its daily way of life. Students participating in this session have less cultural shock and generally feel more confident and comfortable in their new city.Includes airport pickup and transfer to hotel, and three nights in a hotel in a double room shared with another student. Meals and transportation during the orientation as well as transfer to the host family's home at the end of the weekend are also included.
This orientation program begins on the Thursday before the start of classes and ends on Sunday when the students are placed in their host family’s residence. Prices and Dates
