Semester in Spanish / FL TeachingThis semester program is designed for Spanish Majors who are pursuing a degree with Teacher Certification in the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language. It is aimed at students enrolled in American colleges and universities who are interested in receiving training in Spanish FL Teaching Methods. An intermediate to advanced level of Spanish is required, or to have completed 200 level courses. |

HousingTANDEM arranges housing in homestays for students who participate in the Semester programs. By living with a Spanish family, the students are exposed to countless examples of authentic speech and culture and thus better learn the language.Each homestay has been carefully chosen by our Resident Director and Housing Department to ensure the best possible living arrangements for each student. Homestays may consist of a single señora (with or without children) or a traditional two-parent household. Homestays provide three meals per day and laundry service once per week for the official duration of the program. All TANDEM families are welcoming and generous with their home, but participants should remember that they are guests and will be expected to adapt to the traditions and rules of their host family. |
